# Prohibited Content Policy

*Effective date: July 3, 2026 · redchat is an 18+ adult platform.*

## Overview

redchat is an 18+ adult AI-character chat platform. Explicit sexual content, nudity, and erotic roleplay with fictional AI characters are permitted for verified adult users, in both text and AI-generated images. That freedom has hard limits.

This Prohibited Content Policy consolidates, in one place, everything that is never allowed on redchat — drawn from the Community Guidelines and the Content & Safety Guidelines, which remain the authoritative source for the full content framework, including what is permitted. If this policy and those guidelines ever appear to conflict, the more restrictive reading governs.

Every category below applies to **all text conversations, character definitions, and images** — whether generated by redchat's AI, uploaded by a user, or embedded in a shared character — **regardless of who created the content or who claims to own it.** Ownership, monetization status, or platform tenure never exempts content from these rules.

## 1. Sexualization of Minors (Zero Tolerance)

redchat has an absolute, zero-tolerance prohibition on any content that sexualizes, or is intended to sexualize, minors or minor-presenting characters. This is the single hardest line on redchat and it is never subject to exception, fictional framing, or artistic-merit argument.

Prohibited without limitation:

* Any character who is, or is not clearly established as, 18 years of age or older, placed in a sexual or sexualized context.
* "Aged-up" versions of characters who originate as minors in their source material (for example, a canonically underage character re-labeled as an adult to evade this rule).
* loli/shota content, childlike bodies or faces, age-regression to a minor, and infant, child, or school-child scenarios.
* Any character or scenario that merely appears or reads as a minor in a sexual context, even absent explicit underage intent or labeling.

There is no fictional, "it's just AI," or artistic exception to this rule. Full detail on detection, reporting, and enforcement for this category lives in the Minor Safety & Underage Policy.

## 2. Non-Consensual Content Involving Real, Identifiable People

Do not create, request, or share sexual or intimate content depicting a real, identifiable individual without their consent. This includes:

* Deepfakes, face-swaps, and "nudify"-style outputs of a real person.
* Revenge porn and non-consensual intimate imagery, including secretly-captured or leaked material.
* Sextortion, or the posting or threatened posting of private sexual content or conversations.
* Use of a real person's name, likeness, voice, or identifying details in a sexual context without their consent.
* Deceptive or harmful impersonation of real individuals, public figures, or celebrities.

## 3. Real-World Sexual Violence, Trafficking & Exploitation

Do not create content that promotes, encourages, solicits, or normalizes real-world sexual violence, human trafficking, commercial sexual exploitation, or the sexual exploitation of any real person. This applies even where the surrounding scenario is otherwise fictional.

## 4. Sexual Content Involving Real Animals

Sexual content depicting, promoting, or normalizing sexual attraction to or activity with real-life, non-fictional animals is prohibited, as is content depicting animal abuse.

**Note:** wholly fictional, non-human species — anthropomorphic characters, monster-folk, and other fantasy or mythological creatures that are not real animals — are not treated as bestiality under this rule and may be permitted in romantic or sexual contexts between fictional adults, subject to the rest of this policy.

## 5. Extreme Gore & Real-Harm Content

Do not create content depicting acts likely to cause the real death of a person or animal, dismemberment, cannibalism, excessively graphic gore or mutilation, or bodily-waste content (such as feces or urine) presented for shock or sexual purposes.

## 6. Hate Speech & Targeted Harassment

Do not create or share hate speech, including content that idolizes or praises perpetrators of atrocities or terrorism, or content that harasses, threatens, bullies, doxxes, or stalks a real person. This applies to messages, character personas, profile content, and any other surface on redchat.

## 7. Other Illegal Content

Do not create content that is otherwise illegal in the jurisdictions where redchat operates or where you access the service, including content that advocates, facilitates, or provides instructions for illegal acts (for example, illegal weapons or drug manufacturing), and content that encourages or instructs suicide, self-harm, eating disorders, or drug abuse.

## 8. Evasion & Jailbreak Attempts

Do not attempt to circumvent, disable, or defeat redchat's age gates, content filters, moderation systems, or AI safety controls — including prompt injection, jailbreak prompts, or any other technique intended to make redchat's models produce content in a category listed above. Attempting evasion is itself a violation, independent of whether the attempt succeeds.

## 9. Platform Integrity & Abuse

Do not use redchat to spam or send unsolicited promotional content; to distribute malware or other malicious code; to hack, hijack, or gain unauthorized access to an account, system, or data; to distribute another person's private or confidential information without their consent (doxxing); or to spread misinformation likely to incite imminent violence or harm. This applies regardless of who owns the account, character, or content involved.

## Scope: Applies to Everyone, Everywhere on redchat

These prohibitions apply to every user and every piece of content on redchat — text messages, character definitions and bios, lorebook entries, uploaded images, AI-generated images, and profile content — without exception for who authored or owns the material. A creator's ownership of a character never creates a right to have prohibited content hosted, distributed, or monetized.

## Enforcement

redchat uses a combination of automated detection and human review to identify content in these categories, together with in-product user reporting. Enforcement is scaled to severity and may include content removal, a formal warning, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination; content and accounts involved in a zero-tolerance category (Sections 1–3 above) are actioned immediately. Where content constitutes apparent child sexual abuse material (CSAM), it is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or the relevant authorities, as described in the Minor Safety & Underage Policy.

For the full detection, escalation, and appeals process, see the Content Removal & Appeals Policy.

## Contact

Questions about this policy, or reports of content that may violate it, can be sent to <team@redchat.app>, or filed using the in-product reporting tool available on any character, chat, or image.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://powerfan-1.gitbook.io/redchat.app/policies/prohibited-content-policy.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
