This Privacy Policy explains what personal information redchat collects, how it is used and shared, how long it is kept, and the rights you have over it. Because redchat processes intimate conversations and adult imagery, this policy treats that content as sensitive/special-category personal data and applies heightened protections to it. *** ## 1. Information We Collect We collect the following categories of personal information: * **Account & age-assurance information.** Your email address, username, password, and date of birth. When you register you must affirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater). Where a payment processor, app store, or applicable law requires it, we may collect additional age-assurance signals or require an enhanced age-verification step (for example, a third-party age-estimation or identity check) before granting or continuing access to adult features. * **User content, including sensitive content.** The characters, personas, lorebooks, prompts, chat messages, and other content you create or submit, and the AI-generated text and images produced in your sessions. Because redchat is an adult platform, this content routinely includes sexually explicit text and AI-generated adult imagery. **We treat your intimate chat content and generated adult images as sensitive / special-category personal data** and apply the heightened protections described in Sections 4.1, 7, and 7A. * **Transaction & Red Points information.** Records of your purchases of Red Points (RP) and subscriptions, your RP balance and spend history, and billing metadata. Card payments are processed by third-party payment providers; we do not store full card numbers on our systems (see Section 4.3). * **Referral & payout information.** If you participate in the Referral Program, we collect the information needed to operate and pay out that program (for example, payout account details and tax/identity information required by law). * **Usage & analytics data.** How you interact with the Services, including pages viewed, features used, session and diagnostic data, and approximate location derived from your IP address. * **Device & network data.** IP address, device and browser identifiers, operating system, and similar technical data. * **Cookies and similar technologies.** As described in Section 6 and our Cookie & Analytics Notice. ## 2. How We Use Your Information We use your information to: * Provide, maintain, personalize, and improve the Services, including generating AI character responses and adult content you request; * Operate age assurance and confirm you are eligible to access adult features; * Process purchases of Red Points and subscriptions, and prevent payment fraud and abuse; * Keep the platform safe: detect and prevent prohibited content and conduct, including automated and human moderation, CSAM detection, and enforcement of our content rules (see Sections 4.2 and 9); * Provide customer support and respond to your requests; * Send you service messages and, where permitted, optional marketing (see Section 7B); * Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms. **We do not sell your personal information.** We do not use your private chats or generated adult images to train generative AI models that serve other users unless you explicitly opt in. We do not use your intimate content to target advertising, and we do not disclose intimate content to advertising partners. ## 3. How We Share Information We share personal information only as described here: * **AI model and infrastructure providers.** To generate character responses and images, the content of your prompts and messages is transmitted to the third-party large-language-model and image-generation providers and the hosting/infrastructure providers that power the Services. These providers process your content to return a response and are contractually restricted from using it for their own purposes. * **Payment providers.** Adult-content-friendly payment processors handle your card and alternative-payment transactions (see Section 4.3). We intentionally do not route payments through mainstream processors that prohibit adult content. * **Service providers & subprocessors.** Vendors that provide hosting, storage, moderation tooling, customer support, and similar functions, under contracts that limit their use of your data. * **Analytics partners.** Only analytics providers whose terms permit adult-content platforms, and only for aggregate or non-intimate data. We do not share the content of your chats, your generated adult images, or NSFW browsing context with advertising or analytics partners that prohibit adult content (see Section 6). * **Safety and legal disclosures.** We may disclose information to respond to legal process, protect our rights and users' safety, and comply with the law. **We report apparent child sexual abuse material (CSAM) to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or the relevant authorities** and cooperate with lawful investigations (see Sections 4.2 and 9). * **Corporate transactions.** In a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred subject to this policy. * **At your direction.** Content you choose to publish (for example, a character you share publicly) is visible to other users; do not include private or personally identifying information in published content. **We do not sell your personal information** for monetary consideration, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under applicable law. ## 4. Your Rights & Choices Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to opt out of marketing. You may exercise these rights by emailing our privacy team or using in-app forms; we may need to verify your identity before acting. redchat does not sell personal information or discriminate against you for exercising your rights. ### 4.1 Adult Content & Sensitive Personal Data redchat is an adult platform. Sexually explicit text chat and AI-generated adult imagery are permitted for verified adult users, and creating or engaging with this content necessarily involves data that reveals information about your sexuality and sexual preferences. We treat your intimate chat content and generated adult images as **sensitive personal information** (and, for users protected by the EU/UK GDPR, as **special-category data**). Where the law requires explicit consent to process such data, we obtain it — for example, at the point you enable adult features. You can withdraw consent by disabling adult features or deleting your account, though this does not affect processing already carried out. We apply the heightened access, encryption, retention, and non-disclosure protections described in Sections 5, 7, and 7A to this content, and we never sell it or use it for advertising. Because our adult imagery is AI-generated and does not depict real performers, federal recordkeeping requirements for producers of visual depictions of actual sexually explicit conduct involving real people (18 U.S.C. § 2257) do not apply to that content. ### 4.2 Content Moderation, CSAM Detection & Law-Enforcement Cooperation To keep redchat lawful and safe, we operate a combination of automated detection and human moderation. This has privacy implications you should understand: * **Automated scanning.** Content on the platform, including private chats and generated images, is scanned by automated systems — including systems that detect known and apparent child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and other strictly prohibited content. * **Human review of flagged content.** Content flagged by automated systems or reported by users may be reviewed by trained moderators. Because moderation reviews flagged content, you may receive a warning or enforcement action even for a chat you considered private. * **Zero-tolerance categories.** Regardless of who created a character or account, we prohibit and act on: any sexualization of minors or minor-presenting characters (including "aged-up" characters originally depicted as minors, childlike bodies, and school-child scenarios); non-consensual sexual content depicting real, identifiable people (including deepfakes and revenge porn); content promoting real-world sexual violence, trafficking, or exploitation; and anything illegal in the operating jurisdiction. See Section 9 and our Content & Safety Guidelines for the full list. * **Enforcement.** We may remove content, disable features, suspend or terminate accounts, and preserve related records. * **Reporting & cooperation.** We report apparent CSAM to NCMEC and/or the relevant authorities, and we cooperate with lawful law-enforcement requests and court orders. We retain records needed to meet these obligations (see Section 5). ### 4.3 Payments, Red Points & Adult-Friendly Processors redchat uses **Red Points (RP)**, a virtual currency you purchase and spend within the Services. Payments are handled by **adult-content-friendly payment processors**; we do not route payments through mainstream processors that prohibit adult content. We do not store full card numbers on our systems — our processors tokenize card data and typically retain only limited identifiers (such as the last four digits) needed for billing and dispute handling. * **What we collect.** Your RP purchase and spend history, subscription status, and billing metadata (see Section 1). Card details are collected and stored by the processor, not by us. * **Chargebacks.** Red Points are a digital good delivered immediately. Filing a chargeback or payment dispute may result in suspension or termination of your account and forfeiture of your remaining RP balance and any premium access, except where a dispute concerns confirmed fraud. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support first. * **Refunds.** Because RP and other digital goods are delivered instantly, RP purchases are generally non-refundable once spent. Where mandatory consumer-protection law grants you a withdrawal or refund right (for example, the EU/UK 14-day withdrawal right, subject to a deduction for value already consumed), we honor it. Refund requests are handled through support. ### 4.4 Creator Content, Ownership & Monetization Data If you create and publish characters, you retain ownership of your original content and grant redchat a license to host, display, and operate it within the Services, and to make it available to other users you choose to share it with. **Our content rules — including the zero-tolerance categories in Sections 4.2 and 9 — apply to all content regardless of who owns or created it**, and we may remove content or disable characters that violate them. If you participate in the Referral Program (earning a share of a referred user's payments for a full year when someone you invite newly signs up and pays), we collect and process the information needed to run and pay out that program, which may include payout account details and identity/tax information required by law. We share this information only with the payment and compliance providers needed to make payouts and meet our legal obligations. ## 5. Data Retention & Deletion We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. * **Chats and generated adult images.** Your chat logs and the adult images generated in your sessions are retained while your account is active so you can access your history, and are deleted or de-identified after account deletion within a reasonable period, subject to the exceptions below. * **Account deletion.** You may delete your account at any time. On deletion we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable timeframe. De-identified character snapshots may persist to support other users' existing chats with characters you published; these snapshots are stripped of information that identifies you. * **Legal and safety retention.** We retain certain records longer where required by law, and we retain records related to CSAM detection and reporting for the period required to meet our legal reporting and cooperation obligations. This retention applies even after account deletion. * **Backups.** Residual copies may persist in secure backups for a limited period before being overwritten. ## 6. Cookies, Analytics & Consent We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, security, preferences, and analytics. Visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland are asked to consent before non-essential analytics cookies load; in other regions these operate on an opt-out basis, and we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where applicable. **We do not load advertising or analytics technologies that are contractually prohibited from serving adult-content platforms, and we never transmit the content of your chats, your generated adult images, or NSFW browsing context to advertising or analytics partners.** Analytics we do use are limited to aggregate, non-intimate measurement. See our Cookie & Analytics Notice for the full list of technologies and your choices. ## 7. Security We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256), role-based access controls, and audit logging. **Your intimate chat content and generated adult images are stored encrypted at rest and are access-gated as sensitive data**, meaning access is limited to the narrow purposes described in Section 7A. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security; please use a strong, unique password and keep your credentials confidential. ### 7A. Private Chats, Adult Images & AI Processing Your chats and the adult images you generate are private to your account, but **redchat is not end-to-end encrypted.** Your messages and images are encrypted in transit and at rest, and are processed by our systems and by the AI providers that generate responses (see Section 3), which means they are technically accessible to those systems rather than to us at will. Human access to your intimate content is limited to: (a) safety investigations, including CSAM detection and enforcement of our content rules; (b) responding to your support requests; (c) complying with legal obligations; and (d) debugging and maintaining the Services. Automated systems scan content — including for known and apparent CSAM — to keep the platform safe. **We do not use your private chats or generated adult images to serve advertising. We do not use them to train generative AI models that serve other users unless you explicitly opt in.** Where you opt in to model improvement, we use content only in a de-identified manner and do not link it to your identity. ### 7B. Marketing & Re-engagement Emails We send required service messages (for example, security, billing, and account notices) that you cannot opt out of while you hold an account. We may also send optional marketing and re-engagement emails; each includes an unsubscribe link, and you can manage preferences in your account. Visitors in the EEA and UK are asked to consent before receiving marketing. **We never include the content of your chats, your generated adult images, or other explicit material in any marketing, re-engagement, or notification message**, and we design these communications to avoid revealing sensitive or adult content in previews or subject lines. ## 8. International Data Transfers redchat is operated from the United States and your information may be stored and processed in the United States and other countries. Where required by law, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other approved transfer mechanisms to protect personal information transferred across borders. ## 9. Children's Privacy & Age redchat is an adult (18+) platform. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to create an account or access the Services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and we do not offer a reduced-content or "teen" tier — there is no age-gated pathway for minors on redchat. We use age assurance at registration (see Section 1) and may require enhanced verification where required by payment processors, app stores, or applicable law. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will terminate the account and delete the associated personal information, subject to the legal and safety retention described in Section 5. **Zero-tolerance for content involving minors.** Regardless of an account holder's age, redchat prohibits any content that sexualizes minors or minor-presenting characters, including "aged-up" characters originally depicted as minors, childlike bodies, and school-child scenarios. We use automated detection and human moderation to enforce this rule, remove violating content, terminate offending accounts, and report apparent child sexual abuse material (CSAM) to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or relevant authorities, cooperating with lawful law-enforcement investigations. See Section 4.2 for details. ## 10. Changes to This Policy We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective Date" and, for material changes, provide notice through the Services or by email. Your continued use of the Services after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. ## 11.
