These Community Guidelines explain what you can create and share on redchat, where our hard limits are, and how we enforce them. redchat is built for adults. Explicit sexual content, nudity, and mature themes are a normal, permitted part of the experience for verified adults. In exchange, we hold a small set of absolute lines that we never cross — the sexualization of minors, non-consensual content involving real people, and anything illegal — and we enforce those lines aggressively, no matter who created the content. Everyone who uses redchat is expected to follow these guidelines. ## Our Values * **Adult creative freedom.** redchat supports a wide range of fictional adult content, including sexual, romantic, dark, and emotionally intense roleplay between fictional adult characters. We do not shame adult sexuality. * **Hard safety lines that never move.** Adult freedom stops absolutely at minors, at real people who have not consented, and at real-world harm. These limits apply to every user and every creator, with no exceptions and no "creator owns it" defense. * **Consent and respect.** Fictional roleplay should stay between consenting adult users. Do not use redchat to harass, threaten, expose, or impersonate real people. ## What's Welcome * Original fictional adult characters and stories across all genres, including romance, erotica, kink, horror, and dark or emotionally complex themes. * **Explicit sexual roleplay and uncensored adult chat** with fictional AI characters, for verified adults (18+). * **AI-generated adult imagery, including nudity and explicit sexual content**, depicting fictional characters, for verified adults (18+). * Kink and fantasy roleplay between fictional adult characters, within the limits in these guidelines. * Characters you create and, if you choose, share with other adult users on redchat. * Fan-inspired original characters that respect others' intellectual property. ## What's Not Allowed These limits are absolute. They apply to chats, characters, images, profiles, and any other content, **regardless of who created the content or who claims to own it.** **1. Any sexualization of minors (zero tolerance).** We prohibit any content that sexualizes, or is intended to sexualize, minors or minor-presenting characters. This includes, without limitation: * Real or fictional characters who are, or are not clearly established as, over 18; * "Aged-up" versions of characters who originate as minors in their source material; * loli/shota content, childlike bodies or faces, age-regression to a minor, and child, school-child, or infant scenarios; * any character or scenario that merely appears to depict a minor, even absent explicit intent. Confirmed child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is reported to NCMEC and/or the relevant authorities. There is no artistic, fictional, or "it's just AI" exception. **2. Non-consensual content involving real, identifiable people (zero tolerance).** * Sexual or intimate depictions of real, identifiable individuals without their consent, including deepfakes and any image intended to resemble a real person. * Real-person likeness misuse, revenge porn, sextortion, and non-consensual intimate imagery, including secretly-captured imagery and the posting or threatened posting of private sexual conversations. * Photorealistic imagery indistinguishable from a real photograph of an actual person. **3. Real-person impersonation and deception.** Deceptive or harmful impersonation of real individuals, public figures, or celebrities, including profiles or characters that misrepresent a real person's identity without consent. **4. Real-world sexual violence, exploitation, and trafficking.** Content that promotes, encourages, solicits, or normalizes real-world sexual violence, human trafficking, commercial sexual services, or the sexual exploitation of any person. **5. Anything illegal in the operating jurisdiction.** Illegal drugs and weapons, and any content that advocates, endorses, or facilitates illegal acts. **6. Extreme gore and dangerous acts.** Excessively graphic or disturbing gore, dismemberment, cannibalism, exposed organs or bodily mutilation, acts likely to cause the death of a person or animal, and bodily-waste content such as feces or urine. **7. Hate, harassment, and self-harm.** Hate speech (including idolization of hate figures), targeted harassment or bullying, real-world threats and incitement to violence, and the promotion or encouragement of suicide, self-harm, eating disorders, or drug abuse. **8. Platform abuse.** Attempts to evade or jailbreak moderation, spam, malware, account hijacking, distribution of others' private or confidential information, and misinformation likely to incite imminent violence. Where any applicable law requires record-keeping (such as under 18 U.S.C. §2257 or similar statutes) for content depicting real individuals, redchat complies with it; the explicit content on redchat depicts fictional AI characters rather than real performers. Edge categories (real-animal content, fictional species, and family/incest roleplay) are addressed in the Fictional Content Boundaries section below. ## Age Requirements & 18+ Assurance * redchat is strictly for adults. You must be **at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher,** to create an account or use redchat. * There is **no under-18 tier.** redchat does not offer a reduced or "safe" experience for minors; the entire service is adult-only. * At signup you must affirm that you meet the age requirement. Providing false age information is a violation of these guidelines and our Terms. * Where a payment processor, app store, or local law requires it, we apply **stronger age assurance** (for example, additional verification or age-estimation steps) before granting access to explicit content in that context. * If we learn that an account holder is under 18, we will terminate the account and delete associated data as described in our Privacy Policy. ## Enforcement * redchat uses a combination of **automated detection and human moderation** to review content and conduct. Automated CSAM-detection systems run continuously, and reported content is reviewed by trained moderators. * Depending on severity, violations may result in content removal, a warning, temporary suspension, or a permanent ban. Ownership of a character does not exempt its content from these rules. * **Confirmed CSAM is reported to NCMEC and/or the relevant authorities, and we cooperate with lawful law-enforcement requests.** * Intimate chats and generated images may be marketed as private, but they remain subject to safety review; content may be flagged, and enforcement action may follow, even where a user believes a specific chat was not inappropriate. * We may act at our discretion to remove content and disable accounts to protect users and comply with the law. ## Reporting & Appeals redchat provides an in-app reporting system so you can flag content or conduct that violates these guidelines. Reports are reviewed confidentially by our moderation team. If you disagree with an enforcement decision, you may appeal it, except for confirmed CSAM and other confirmed illegal content (see the Content Removal & Appeals Policy); appeals are processed within 5 business days. ## Creator Ownership, Licensing & Monetization * **You own what you create.** When you create a character on redchat, you keep ownership of your original character content. * **License to redchat.** To operate the service, you grant redchat a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and — where you choose to share a character — make it available to other adult users on redchat. The scope, duration, and sublicensing terms of this license are defined in our Terms of Service. * **Rules apply regardless of ownership.** Owning a character never exempts its content from these Community Guidelines. Prohibited content (see What's Not Allowed) is removed and actioned even when a creator claims ownership. * **Monetization.** Users earn on redchat through the Referral Program — sharing an invite or character link and earning 30% of a newly referred user's payments for a full year (12 months), regardless of who created the character involved — subject to our Referral Program terms. Referral earnings require compliance with these guidelines and all applicable law. ## Payments, Red Points & Refunds * **Red Points (RP).** redchat uses Red Points, a virtual in-app currency, to access paid features. RP and subscriptions are sold through adult-friendly payment providers. RP has no cash value, is not transferable, and is not a deposit or bank balance. * **Billing.** Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the applicable period until cancelled. You can cancel anytime in your account settings; cancellation stops future renewals and keeps access active until the end of the current paid period. * **Refunds.** Purchases of digital goods are generally final once RP is delivered. Where the law gives you a statutory right of withdrawal (for example, EU/UK consumers' 14-day right), we honor it, with a pro-rated deduction for RP already consumed. Outside a statutory right, refunds are limited: we may consider a refund of **unused** RP within a short window after purchase, at our discretion. We do not refund RP consumed by AI generation, subscription periods already used, moderation/enforcement actions, or issues on your own device or network. * **Chargebacks.** If you believe a charge is wrong, contact support first. Filing a chargeback or payment dispute (other than for confirmed fraud) may result in immediate cancellation of your subscription, forfeiture of remaining RP, and suspension or termination of your account. ## Privacy, Intimate Data & AI Training * **We treat your intimate content as sensitive.** Your chat logs and any generated intimate images are handled as sensitive / special-category personal data. Full details are in our Privacy Policy. * **Safety review.** Content may be processed by automated systems and, where necessary, human reviewers for safety and moderation, including CSAM detection. This is required to keep redchat lawful and safe. * **AI training.** If we use interaction data to improve our models or moderation systems, we use it only in **de-identified or aggregated** form and do not link training data to your identity. * **No sale of intimate data.** We do not sell your intimate chat content or generated intimate images, and we do not share your NSFW activity with advertising or analytics partners that prohibit adult content. * **Retention and deletion.** We retain personal data only as long as reasonably necessary or as required by law (for example, financial records for tax purposes). You may request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal and financial retention obligations. * **Your rights.** Depending on where you live, you have rights under laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA/CPRA, including rights to access, correct, delete, and restrict processing of your personal data. Contact us to exercise them. * **Security.** We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. ## Fictional Content Boundaries (Edge Categories) * **Real animals — not allowed.** Sexual content depicting, promoting, or normalizing sexual attraction to or activity with real-life nonhuman animals is prohibited. Depictions of animal abuse are also prohibited. * **Fictional species — allowed.** Wholly fictional, non-real species and creatures (for example, monster-folk and other fantasy beings that are not real animals) are not treated as bestiality and are permitted when all participants are fictional adults. * **Family / incest roleplay.** redchat does not separately enumerate consensual fictional family or step-family roleplay between verified-adult fictional characters as a prohibited category.
